Nigel Humphreys is a writer living in West Wales near
Aberystwyth. His books include poetry collections, translations
and short stories.
In 2007 his first poetry collection The Hawk's Mewl was published by Arbor Vitae Press,
London followed in 2010 by The Flavour of Parallel and a third collection Of Moment in
2013. The Love Song of Daphnis and Chloe was published in 2015 by Circaidy Gregory
Press. It includes five new translations of poems by the troubadour poet Dafydd ap Gwilym.
His fifth book For Reasons Unknown was published in 2019 again by Arbor Vitae Press.
His latest book is a collection of ghost stories - Beyond Dead and other Ghost Stories -
one of which was included in the anthology entitled 2019 Best British Short Stories.
His new book, both hardbound and in paperback format contains fourteen stories
and is published by Zagava Press.
